Indiana Jones and the Great Circlehas been out for a little while now, and players who have already finished the game are likely wondering if there will be new content added to the game. The game takes around 15 hours to beat as is, which is around the same length as similarly themed games like Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Still, I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting more Indiana Jones content, especially with the state of Indy's last big-screen outing.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle already has some smaller DLC from pre-order bonuses like The Last Crusade Pack. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's different editions also came with some additional DLC, like a digital art book and Indy's outfit from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Originally, there was some speculation that The Order of Giants would be released around the same time as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's PS5 version. However, we now know that the PS5 version will be released on April 17, 2025, but there is still no word on when the DLC is coming. Seeing as the DLC comes packaged with the Premium Edition of the game, I wouldn't be surprised if the idea to release it later was to help sales.

After all, players likely wouldn't pay extra for the Premium Edition before playing the game if they knew the DLC was available separately for a similar price. If I'm right, then it will probably be a little bit after the release of the PS5 version until we hear more details about The Great Circle DLC. This would give the game a window to sell copies of the Premium Edition before players are able to weigh its value against buying the DLC separately.

The DLC Story Will Likely Focus On The Nephilim Order

Although no official details have been given about The Order of Giants, it's probably safe to assume the DLC's title refers to the Nephilim Order that appeared during the main story. It would be quite a coincidence if there were multiple orders of giants in the Indiana Jones universe. It's unclear if the DLC will pick up from the game's secret ending in Antarctica, or if it will add new content before the game's ending.

Whatever Indiana Jones and the Great Circle's DLC has in store, I'm excited to get an excuse to pick the game back up again. It's nice that PS5 players will get a chance to beat the game before the DLC comes out, if it does indeed take place after the game's main story. That way, everyone will be ready to enjoy The Order of Giants when it is finally released.
