WWE hits London for the first of two shows, as SmackDown comes from the O2. What will Cody Rhodes have to say about John Cena, ahead of their next face-to-face on Monday Night Raw? LA Knight will defend his United States Championship against Braun Strowman, with The Bloodline's Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa waiting in the wings for both men. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens will be in town, as bad blood runs between them, and also continues between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest.

There's more gold on the line, as new WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits defend against the UK's own, Pretty Deadly. • Roman says Seth keeps saying "we", but "we" died a long time ago. He says he raised the level of WWE, he made the company desirable to Netflix and worth billions, and that had nothing to do with Seth.
  • Seth says that he let CM Punk into the garden, and that's a danger to everything he's built. Seth says he's left to clean up Roman's mess, after he shook Punk's hand at WarGames.
  • CM Punk enters and signs the contract. Roman Reigns hurries CM Punk, saying that he doesn't have to spend all day looking at it.
  • Heyman says to Punk, "I know what you're looking, it's in there".
  • It is confirmed that CM Punk will headline WrestleMania alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
  • Rollins says Punk doesn't deserve it, and he says this is all Heyman and Reigns's fault.
  • CM Punk thanks London, Chicago, Louisville, and the WWE Universe, but Roman Reigns interjects and says he should only be thanking his Tribal Chief.
  • Punk then extensively thanks Roman Reigns for his work over the years and tells him he'll see him at WrestleMania, but that's not the favor he's owed as SmackDown goes off the air.

A fairly lacklasture SmackDown ignited in it's final stages, as CM Punk's favor is not only headlining WrestleMania. The contract is signed and Punk's favor is included, but Roman Reigns must wait to find out what clause his wise man, Paul Heyman, inserted, much to the ire of Seth Rollins. Pretty Deadly and The Street Profits had a fantastic tag match, but there was a lot of filler material for a show this deep into WrestleMania season. With the show itself less than a month away, a lot of the card is still yet to be revealed (even if there are plenty of hints), as this year's strange WrestleMania season continues to bamboozle everyone.
